A Pendle Borough Council multi million pound housing regeneration project situated in the heart of Nelson’s Whitefield conservation area comes to fruition on 7.10.09 with the launch of its showhouse.

The project, which is part of Elevate East Lancashire’s  Housing Market Renewal Programme, is  closely linked to the ‘Dreaming of Pennine Lancashire’ proposal  which awhiteroom take a vested interest in and have been involved with in the past..

The flagship scheme has transformed two blocks of Victorian houses, which were previously potentially earmarked for demolition, into eco friendly, modern, bright, sustainable 21st century living spaces whilst retaining the historic appearance of the exterior. awhiteroom are supplying selected pieces of furniture, lighting and accessories for the showhouse which will be available for viewing throughout the week.

The prestigious project has been welcomed by local residents and is also attracting considerable interest from both local and national media putting the historic former mill town firmly back on the map.
