new from driade | a musical?

Just when you think that Andrew Lloyd Webber and his gaggle of Dorothys have finally left the building with all their west end showbusiness we’re landed with a surprisingly sweet tasting reminder! Driade sent theatrical shockwaves through the Milan Furniture fair with the unveiling of the fantastic Nemo chair. I’m sure you’ll agree that its got more than a hint of Phantom of the Opera about it! Well we here at awhiteroom think that a bit of true drama has been sorely missed recently in the design world and it appears that this may well be the birth of an icon. The Nemo looks like a white plaster mask on its very own pedestal but its benign strength and comfort is completely in keeping with the Driade brand of cool, chic comfort.
