Tatton Design Weekend and Kartell’s 60th and Barbie’s 50th birthdays!

The clocks have sprung forward and we’re off and running towards the summer…..just where does the time go?

We’ve taken on new brands ‘Fatboy’ and ‘Momiji’ and we are sure they will complement existing brands and products such as Normann Copenhagen, Magis Me Too and Joseph Joseph.

As far as the bigger picture is concerned David is off project managing a refurb in Cornwall whilst the rest of us mere mortals are holding the fort in Colne (you know we love it!!)

We recently provided the accessories for a retro fashionshoot which featured in the Ribble Valley ‘Live’ magazine and the products looked as stunning as the outfits…….and speaking of needing a new outfit (ahem) we are also going to exhibit at the ‘Design Weekend’ show at Tatton Park over the May spring bankholiday…..think ‘Nuts in May’ in Knutsford! (Details to follow……..)

Finally to coincide with the famous Milan Salon de Mobile furniture show next month Kartell are launching their limited edition ‘Barbie’ Louis Ghost and Lou Lou Ghost chairs in honour of celebrating Kartell’s 60th and Barbie’s 50th birthdays (and damn she’s looking fine!) This design classic features an image of Barbie at her best etched onto the backrest of the grown up Louis Ghost, and the divine children’s version, Lou Lou Ghost.

Do all you lovely people have to travel to Milan to witness this spectacle however? Oh no because ‘awhiteroom’ is pleased to announce that it will have its very own dedicated window display in honour of the event where we will be showing the limited editions in all their glory. If you love all things ‘Ghost’ don’t miss out on this chance to purchase a truly special take on it.
