top drawer, top notch

unbelievably, it is now a week since team awhiteroom packed our bags boarded the train to London on Saturday night (via Leeds) to visit Top Drawer and sniff out the pic of the latest designer home accessories and gift items. With comfy shoes all round and tanked up on coffee to ease the transition from play mode drinking wine the night before, to work mode on Sunday morning we arrived at Olympia on a beautiful Sunday morning. A good chat with a familiar face, our Alessi rep Mark and we were settled and ready to scout, lots of smaller more innovative stands than we have previously been used to but packed to the brim with gorgeousness. We have spotted quite a few things which will be winging their way instore and online very soon. I have to say that the stand out feature for me and the rest of the team was the presence of colour! perfect antidote to this weekends preview of the impending autumn which is creeping upon us! may be time to look for some new lamps or lights if you ask us… specially as there are some brightly appealing new pieces from foscarini on their way… be sure to join our mailing list to hear about the arrival of new products before anybody else!
